Hi! I’m Bahareh

Welcome to Bahareh’s Silhouette. I’m Bahareh. I am a writer, editor, wife, mother, philosopher, and occasional poker player. I am an INFJ—an Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging person who likes to spend time alone to observe, think, and analyze. I have a constant stream of thoughts where I ponder the deeper symbolisms of life, and my purpose for creating this blog is to have a creative outlet to write down my reflections, but also create a community for people who might be interested in the same life topics. I’ve written since I was seven years old. I wrote every day and journaled throughout my life. I write to keep my sanity.

I like the word “silhouette.” It’s a pretty synonym for “outline.” This blog will be a silhouette of all sorts of subjects exploring the meanings of life and the human condition. A philosophical blog reflecting on our world, society, and collective challenges as humans. I’ve had a deep interest in psychology and human behavior since I was a child. I always wanted to understand why people behaved as they did. I was even more concerned as to why I behaved as I did. I spent years self-reflecting on my childhood, ancestral line, and environmental factors to understand my personal behavioral patterns.

At Rutgers University, in addition to studying psychology, I majored in Communication & Media Studies. In the last decade, I have delved deeper into analyzing mass media tactics, hidden messages, and mind control through that prism. Therefore, I am certain that I will also be touching upon current events, pop culture, and mass media manipulations shaping our perceptions and beliefs. If you find these topics fascinating, I would be delighted if you accompany me on this adventure for learning, insight, and analysis.

Cheers,

Bahareh
